Lori Gutierrez, C.A.R.E.S.
Founder and Principal, has been actively involved in healthcare
for over 25 years, specializing in Long Term Care and Managed
Medicare. Ms. Gutierrez has held the positions of Corporate
Vice President of Training/Education and Corporate Vice
President of Clinical Operations for national healthcare
organizations. She has provided training, support, and direction
to internal and external staff regarding Medicare/Medicaid
Managed Care, Case Management, Utilization Review, and reimbursement/contract
review. Ms. Gutierrez has also held the positions of Director
of Nursing Services and other various positions in Long
Term Care. Ms. Gutierrez is conversant in Federal, State
and Local rules, regulations and procedures. She is an active
participant in the Arizona Health
Care Association (AzHCA), the National Association of Directors
of Nursing Administrators (NADONA), the American
Association of Managed Care Nurses (AAMCN), the Case Management
Society of America (CMSA) and the National
Nurses in Business Association (NNBA). Ms. Gutierrez speaks
publicly on many healthcare topics for a variety of
associations. Ms. Gutierrez is a graduate as a Registered
Nurse from Phoenix College and a Business Degree from
University of Phoenix.
Paige Hector, LMSW

Paige Hector earned her Bachelor
of Social Work and Sociology degree from Nebraska Wesleyan
University, and then
earned a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State
University. She has extensive experience in Medical Social
Work and has worked in many healthcare settings including
Acute Care, Long Term Care, Adult Day Care and Case
Management. Ms. Hector also works for TLC HealthCare™ Companies
with a special focus on the Pain & Palliative
Medicine Practice. She lectures on topics including Pain
and Palliative Medicine, End-of-Life issues, Advance Directives,
the Prospective Payment System (PPS) and the Role of the
Social Worker in the Long-Term Care setting. Ms. Hector
is
a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
and the American Medical Directors Association
(AMDA).
Deborah Vannoy, RN, MBA, CCM, CPUR

Deborah Vannoy has been involved
in healthcare for over 30 years. Ms. Vannoy holds a Bachelor
of Science Degree in
Nursing from Rhode Island College and a Masters in Business
Administration in Healthcare Management. She has held
the position as Director of Medical Management for a National
Healthcare Company and 18 years of experience with
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island. Ms. Vannoy provides
extensive experience and knowledge of Medicare provider
risk contracting, project management, utilization management,
and case management. Ms. Vannoy also has extensive
years of experience with compliance, working directly with
state and federal regulatory entities and is conversant
with
HEDIS, URAC, NCQA, Millman, InterQual and CMS guidelines.
Previous clinical experience includes management
positions in a skilled/long term care, acute clinical in
the Post Anesthesia Unit at Rhode Island Hospital, and Case
Management/Utilization Management, Ms. Vannoy also has teaching
experience as an instructor in a post-secondary
business school in Rhode Island and is a Certified Case
Manager (CCM). A Massachusetts native, Ms. Vannoy now
resides in Florida.
Rhonda Burcham, R.N

Rhonda Burcham has been in the field
of healthcare as an RN for almost 20 years. The majority
of her recent
experience has been as the Director of Case Management for
Skilled Nursing Facilities. Ms. Burcham has held the
positions of Director of Nursing, Infection Control, Staff
Development, Charge Nurse, Hospice Nurse and Case
Management. Ms. Burcham is conversant in Federal and State
Regulations, InterQual and Milliman guidelines, and has
worked closely with the local IPRO on Quality Measures.
Ms. Burcham has recently created an effective and productive
Clinical Case Management program for a 155 bed sub-acute/rehab
facility as Director of Case Management, averaging
130 admissions/discharges/month. She has been instrumental
in creating and implementing Clinical Case management
departments for Skilled Nursing Facilities. Ms. Burcham
is active in the Arizona Health Care Association (AzHCA)
and
the National Director of Nursing Administrators/LTC (NADONA/LTC).
